Lunchtime Leaders:
"Lunchtime Leaders are Year 6 children who lead a club for the younger children in the school. Each term, different groups of us in Year 6 (Gold Class) form a club. We get together in threes and fours, and fill out a form telling our Headteacher (Mr Hills) about ourselves, what we would like to do a club about, where it will be held and what we would like to do in our club. My most recent club was Art club, for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. We mainly did drawing techniques but we tried collage and lots of other types of art. Lunchtime Leaders is a fun activity for different groups in our school!"

The Construction club:
"My club was called the Construction Club with Reception Class who were building every step of the way. Reception Class were taught how to make dogs with nodding heads and tails on the first week with big building blocks. Reception Class really enjoyed themselves from the big smiles on their faces. The next week we made cars and flying vehicles with the Lego and the children were very clever with the building equipment. The children were well behaved and made some excellent constructions. We hoped to help the smaller children gain more skills in building. We wanted them to achieve higher levels and I hope we were successful!!"

The Netball club:
"We decided to teach netball to younger pupils in the school. We taught them skills and techniques through the 5 weeks of teaching them. We experienced teaching children younger than ourselves and really enjoyed it. They all tried their best and worked together as a team."
