1.      Dave Phillips and Gillian Chard came on behalf of PIG and Garyshott Panto to beginning of meeting to ask if it was possible to join forces with the PTA more in the future.

Dave gave a brief history about how the Panto and PIG started out and expressed the feeling that it was important to get some new people interested and involved as many who are at present serving on the PIG committee and involved with the Panto have been for many years.

Any profit made at events goes back into the Grayshott community. The school having received approx £6000 over the years.

He stressed the large number of bodies needed to put on events like Party in Grayshott, the fireworks and Panto.

They have made the decision not to have a fun day or fireworks this year. All involved needing a break and time to recharge their batteries. It is hoped this will make people think and hopefully come forward so that it can happen in the future.

He offered any of their equipment that we could borrow for any of our own events and agreed to email a list of this equipment ASAP.

Members of the PTA suggested more communication, notice and information prior to events taking place.

2.      Uniform to be sold to new parents evening on Tuesday 16th June.   Action LC

3.      Photo’s – A parent has suggested using Tessa Smith for the future. Sue mentioned that the questionnaire comments needed looking too. Agreed to discuss at next meeting and more costing to be sort by then.      Action SN

4.      Kate asked Jon what the PTA is at present raising money for. Jon said the next plan pf action in the outdoor environment now the pool cover is on would be the area out side the swimming pool that hopefully will become a multi sensory enclosed area. Some of the children have submitted plans and once the pond area is finished this is where funding would be required next.

5.      Charlie asked if there were any plans for the changing rooms. Jon agreed this is a possibility and with toilets too would make the pool a more commercial asset.

6.      Agreed to fund gold class leaver’s books as last year.
