Big things are growing in our school allotment. With a lot of patience, a load of manure, and some great work by Suzy and her volunteers, we have some massive squashes coming along nicely. These have to be some of the most impressive sunflowers I’ve seen too. We are preparing a bid for some funding from Hidden Gardens of Grayshott to develop this further, and to get some more plants to keep improving our pond area

    Knowing your times tables is such an important part of our Maths Learning. It unlocks a lot of other skills. That is why we use Times Tables Rockstars. It really helps the children boost their recall speed and confidence. So much so that we have achieved fantastic results in the last couple of years with the government’s Multiplication Tables Check, which happens in year 4 every summer. We have done exceptionally well in this due to the hard work of the children and staff. Over 50% of last year’s Year 4 class achieved top marks in the test, and our average score is way above the Local Authority.
