Financial Education Workshop
Gold class learnt how to manage their money and make it grow! They began the workshop with a virtual £500 and were tasked with seeing who could grow their money the most by the end of the morning by playing a variety of games, devising strategy and calculating risk. They recorded their expenditure and income on their bank balance sheets. The children learnt about risk and reward; investing and banking; interest and saving as well as budgeting and lending. It was fantastic to see the children so engaged in the maths of the exercise and making advised decisions in order to succeed.
