On Friday 6th March we will be celebrating World Book Day. The theme this year is ‘Share a Story’ and our day will be centred around this concept. Children are welcome to dress up as a book character of their choice. Mrs Tickner is holding a competition for the best book review. These need to be submitted before World Book Day (ie before Friday 6th March) and prizes will be handed out on World Book Day for the best book review – there will be a winner for each year group. The book reviews will displayed in the library so please make them bright, bold and colourful! In Early Years and Key Stage 1, we will be holding a ‘Share a Story Breakfast’ for children in Red, Yellow and Blue classes from 8.45am – 9.30am. Parents, Carers, family members are invited to come into class with their children, bringing in their favourite book to share in class.
