Ofsted and School Results
Ofsted 2018 - Grayshott CE Primary is a 'good' school
The school was inspected in June 2018 and retained our 'Good' grading. The inspectors recognised that not only has the leadership team maintained the quality of education but is ‘ambitious for all pupils to achieve well’ and has a ‘sensible, planned approach to secure sustainable improvements’.
The relationships and behaviour around the school were positively noted: ‘children are kind and considerate and enjoy learning in a calm and positive environment’. We were thrilled with the ’10 out of 10’ the children awarded us! The report confirmed that ‘safeguarding is effective’ and that leaders have ‘successfully established a safe and caring school community in which all pupils can thrive’.
The report is a tribute to the hard work of all the staff and we are pleased that it acknowledges the ‘ambitious’ and ‘capable subject leaders’ and that ‘skilful teaching enables pupils to make links in their learning and apply their English and mathematics skills to other subjects’.

School Results 2021/2022
This year, the national assessment schedule has resumed and data has been collected across the school.
In November 2021, schools were asked to carry out the phonics screening with Year 2 children.
83% of our children passed the phonics screening in November 2021.
We were very pleased with this result, which is a testament to the high quality teaching of phonics
in Years R, 1 and 2, that continued throughout the pandemic.
