On Thursday, Green Class went back in time to the Anglo-Saxon era when they visited Butser Ancient Farm.  They showed off their historical knowledge about why the Anglo-Saxons came to Britain in the first place, and found out what life would have been like between the years 410 and 1066.  Our Grayshott historians used raw materials to build fences and walls, they had a go at marching like an Anglo-Saxon army and tried their hands at jewellery making.  The class displayed excellent reasoning skills when discussing the artefacts they discovered during a mock archaeological dig.  Thank you to our parent helpers and to the PTA for their contribution towards the funding of the trip
