  Welcome back everyone, and a very Happy New Year from all of us here at Grayshott CE Primary. We hope you had a restful break and a chance to be together as families. The beginning of a new year always has the power to give new purpose and new determination to people. One chapter closes and another begins. It is often a time when people resolve to do things differently; to make subtle changes in their lives. Already this year, the leaders of the world’s nuclear-armed countries have released a rare joint statement confirming their desire to work towards the removal of these weapons from the world. If they can commit to this, then to what can we commit? Earlier this week, we were visited by author and adventurer, Tess Burrows. She’s on a mission to the United Nations to deliver pledges and promises from thousands of children about what they will do to protect our beautiful planet. Ask your children what they promised.
