• Special Visitor comes to school!

  On Thursday this week Purple Class had an important visitor. The children are studying ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ and are going to be writing information texts, so what better way to champion the plight of the poultry in this famous novel than to bring in a real live hen. Herbie (not one of Farmer Boggis' flock, but Mrs Roberts' pet) spent the day in the classroom and as well as producing quite a lot of manure in her time here she even laid an egg in front of the whole class!

  Red class had the opportunity to meet and stroke Herbie in the afternoon too. Well done Purple Class for being so quiet, curious and also tolerant of her more smelly creations!

• King of Chaos - Gold Class are Authors!

  Gold Class have been working very hard throughout the Autumn and Spring terms and have written and published a book. It’s called King of Chaos and is currently available on Amazon. It’s a ‘Choose your own adventure’ story in which you make choices and battle monsters in order to win. It is suitable for ages 8 and up.

   

  This is a remarkable achievement by the children and we are so proud of how they all worked together, persevered, went through the editing process and came up with a finished product that they can be proud of.

  If you would like to order a copy, we can offer them at a reduced price of £5 each (they retail at £6.95). There is a link on ScoPay that you can use to do this and we will order copies for you. These sometimes take a couple of weeks to be delivered but this way the children in Gold Class will get more of the royalties to use on their end of year party.
