  • Busy Week!

    Fri 26 Apr 2024

This week was Earth Day. Children in Purple Class spent some time thinking about sustainability and coming up with ideas on how to save the planet.

Green Class have started a new science topic about electricity. They started by trying to organise everything they knew about mains and battery powered appliances, adding their thoughts to their working wall.

Purple Class got stuck into their first Forest School session with Mrs Ashton-Smith this week. They had a great time down in the woods and were buzzing about their experiences when they came back.

Gold Class took advantage of the improved weather to do some of their English lessons outdoors.  They’ve been reading Michael Morpurgo’s excellent Kensuke’s Kingdom and were thinking about the most important things to do on landing on a desert island.

  • Thanks to our wonderful PTA!

    Fri 19 Apr 2024

Thanks again to the PTA and all the funding they have put into improving Red Class’ outdoor area. Outdoor learning is such an important part of Early Years and it is great that your generous contributions to the PTA are going towards making a real difference to our children. Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to replace the dilapidated sandpit with a brand new one that the children are already enjoying. I don’t think Anakin Skywalker would approve but we don’t want the Sith messing around in our outdoor space anyway so there.
