  Thursday morning was a chance for the children to enjoy a special Christmas treat. The Panto Company UK came in and delivered a special performance of Aladdin for the whole school. There was tons of noise and fun, singing and dancing and the children really, really enjoyed it. Their favourite bit (Gold Class at least) was the TikTok dance. Widow Twanky, Wishy Washy, Princess Jasmine and Aladdin himself were all in attendance, thanks to the PTA, so a big thank you to them from all of us.

   

• Reading at home

  Did you know we do certificates for children who read at home? If you have 25 comments in your reading record, you get one of these snazzy certificates from your teacher. Sometimes they even get presented in Celebration Worship on a Friday. We give certificates for 50 reads, 75; I’ve even seen them given out to children who have read 150 times at home. Reading at home is so important and it makes SUCH a difference. Well done to all the children who make the effort out of school, and well done to all you parents and carers who give up your time in the evening to hear them and help them. Here are a few children in Purple Class with their certificates.
